Thanks for volunteering.

The practice until now was that if, after a few days' wait, nobody
posts any comments that require some rework, anyone with write access
can commit the changes.  Given that you have enough time to always do
that, there's no need to change this agreement, I think.  Just be sure
to say that you committed them, so others will know, even if they
don't get the automatic email notification.
