Volunteering is always okay ;-)

The Fileutils maintainer, Jim Meyering, asked me at the time to use as 
much DJGPP-specific files as possible from the Textutils distro, so that 
he could make most of them common to all the packages he maintains.  So I 
suggest to download Textutils 2.0 from SimTel.NET and study how that 
package is configured/built for DJGPP.
