Too often "upgrade" becomes "downgrade" or "degrade" until the
program or system is rather long in the tooth.  For those of
us who have work to get done, better to wait until most of the
glitches have been found.

I count myself amongst those who resist the temptation to
upgrade at once on the greater fool theory (usually reserved
for the stock market).  There will always be those who want
to be the first on the block to get a new or improved toy.
They are the pioneers who perforce serve the rest of us.
