I meant your code when compile on my Solaris and QNX/NTO boxes
return "i586" and "i686".
Actually on the Solaris machines, "uname -m" invariably returns
i86pc and "uname -p" i386 for all x86 CPUs.
And on the QNX/NTO "uname -m" returns x86pc for all intels.
