I should be fix it. That's arguably your fault. Pointing $TMPDIR or similar to a root directory is never a good idea, IMHO, for just that reason. I have in my AUTOEXEC, with D: the ramdisk: mkdir d:\temp set TEMP=d:\temp But it may well be worth fixing the code anyway, for other people with the same setup. -- Nate Eldredge nate AT cartsys DOT com
