I saw the announcement about 2.8.1 being released.  Seems like we are in 
for some more work, eh?

Robert, if you get to building this, could you please see whether your 
patch about the .exe suffix got into the release?  I couldn't understand 
what was the final decision of Richard Kenner, but I'm afraid he didn't 
agree with what I tried to convince him.
