This is to let you know that I've uploaded a new draft of the proposed
"orientation FAQ," available at

Thank you for your comments, which did lead to a bit of condensing in one
section. I've resisted a temptation to add anything making it longer
<grin>.

Anyway, please enjoy, and your further comments would be most welcome.

BTW, for the first release, I might propose a version number matching that
of the regular FAQ; for example, INTRO210 if we reach that point while
version 2.01 (and FAQ 2.10) are still current.

Incidentally, if it seems worthwhile, maybe this might be an opportunity
to learn a new skill: putting together an info version.
