When I make diffs, I store the orig file as .c~ and then I change to %DJDIR% and (in your case I do): diff -c src/libc/posix/unistd/write.c~ src/libc/posix/unistd/write.c > write.dif Maybe there is better methode, but since I do it not so often, it is enough for me.
