I was aware that configure scripts are used to generate the makefiles and 
config files - this can be observed durng the installation of any GNU Unix 
package but, having all files generated for DJGPP, isn't it sufficient to 
distribute only the generated files? It is safe that al DJGPP users will 
have the same compiler environment and basic tools needed to compile the package.
