I would do it for GDB 4.16, because this is, what I'm currently working
on. I have also added the hardware watchpoint/breakpoint support and
it works ok. My modifications are also based on my patch of 'dbgcom.c',
which I already sent to this group, to allow restarting the debugged
program.
But I have only ported the debugger with a complete different
makefile (generated from RHIDE), because it is for me easyer to
do this than modifying the existing makefile.
If you are interested in it, I will produce a zip archive, which
contains all the needed files to build GDB 4.16 from the original
sources (this includes also compiling in an other directory than the
sources).
