Well, we haven't PROVEN that any fix will make this work under Win 3.1, and if you change it you need to test under all DPMI providers to make sure you don't break them instead. There is a bunch of new glue to be written to even test this (all assembler) and I haven't seen any volunteers yet. At times you just get disgusted working around MS bugs.
