This is to announce that the DJGPP ports of many GNU packages have
been recompiled with DJGPP v2.03 and uploaded to SimTel.NET.  Minor
bugs, as reported by users since the initial uploads, were also fixed
in some of the packages.

The main motivation for the rebuild was to have these tools support
new features introduced with DJGPP v2.03, such as /dev/env, and avoid
the library bugs corrected in v2.03.

People who build GNU packages or otherwise use Bash should consider
downloading at least Fileutils, Findutils, Sed, and M4.  Updating
ID-Utils should be also a good idea.

In most of the cases, only the binary distributions were uploaded, as
sources were not changed.  In the few cases where there were minor
source changes (see below), the source distributions were also
replaced with the new ones.

Here's the list of fixed bugs:

  * `df' from Fileutils no longer crashes for inaccessible drives

  * `install' from Fileutils supports executable files without the
    .exe extension

  * It is now possible to interrupt `find' from Findutils by pressing
    Ctrl-C

  * ispell.el and ispell.elc were removed from the Ispell
    distribution, to avoid overewriting newer versions that come with
    Emacs

  * The `iwhich' script in the Ispell distribution now works with
    DJGPP

  * All man pages are now distributed in formatted form.
