Please send replies to djgpp AT delorie DOT com and not djgpp-announce.

I have updated my serial comms package and DJ has uploaded it to
ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2tk/bcsio20.zip

This replaces the old bcserio.zip that used to be available from the
same location.

Features:
 * Fully interrupt driven serial comms up to 115200 baud
** Unlimited (theoretically) number of ports can be open at one time
   (limited only by the hardware)
 * Supports irq sharing (internal only) so long as the hardware does.
 * Small (2376 bytes total) and fast.
 * Two small terminal programs as demos
 * C++ wrapper class provided
 * Supports software flow control (XON/XOFF)
** Documentation ;) (Not the best, but it's there)

Non-features:
 * Does NOT work under windows 3.x (due to the cli bug in windows)
 * Not 16550 enhanced.
 * Fixed buffer sizes.
 * No hardware flow control

Known bugs:
 * There is a bug in gas up to (and including) v2.8.1 that causes
   problems with the extra sections used. A patch for fixing this is
   provided, but it is for gas 2.8.1

Enjoy
Bill
