CWSDPMI r5 has been release and is available on Simtel and mirrors.

For example, the binary distribution is available as:

CWSDPMI is a free 32-bit DPMI provider with some DPMI 1.0 extensions.  It
is useful when running DJGPP applications from a DOS environment which 
does not provide DPMI services.

The key new features are:
  Stub available for making single image distributions
  Large memory support (up to 2Gb physical or virtual, up from 256Mb)
  Command line/cwsparam switch to disable DPMI 1.0 extensions (null pages OK)
  Support for more than 64Mb memory in raw mode
  Support for raw mode memory on PC98 architecture
  Added DPMI 1.0 Get Capabilities function
