I know there are versions of PDFTEX(W2C), OCTAVE, R-console,Maxima that run on plain-text bash unix shells. I one case asking for a plot said that part was not installed. Cool. Maybe I'm just an old codger (59) but are there pure-dos versions of such software? I have an old MS-DOS generic (no GUI) machne used 1985-95 and I haven't used it since y2k, but am kinda nostalgic. Plus I can see reasons for it in the future. -- Vasos Panagiotopoulos, Columbia'81+, Reagan, Mozart, Pindus blog: panix.com/~vjp2/ruminatn.htm - = - web: panix.com/~vjp2/vasos.htm facebook.com/vasjpan2 - linkedin.com/in/vasjpan02 - biostrategist.com ---{Nothing herein constitutes advice.
