Hi, Andris, Thanks for your efforts, again (but no, I haven't tried this ... yet). (one more comment below, inline) On Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 12:36:38 PM UTC-5, Andris Pavenis (andris DOT pavenis AT hates DOT spam) [via djgpp-announce AT hates DOT spam] wrote: > This is announcement of an update of DJGPP port of GCC-9.2.0 > > Binaries are built and tested in Windows Vista Business SP3 bit. > Unfortunately Microsoft has broken DPMI in Windows 10 32 bit > since March 2018. There is also no improvement in recent Insider > builds of 32 bit versions of Windows 10. I'm not disputing your experience. I've never used Win10 at all. But one guy on news://comp.os.msdos.programmer said this recently (June 17): (subject: "MSVC 1.5 does not work anymore in Windows 10 build 18342") " I just confirmed the link (Microsoft Segmented Executable Linker Version 5.60.339 Dec 5 1994) worked in the June update of Windows 10 1903. The version of Windows is OS Build 18362.175. " (I know that's not the exact same as DJGPP, but it's still something, right?) Just FYI.
