See [0]. DJ is not an initialism, AFAIK. As such, D.J. is not correct. Dj is not correct because his parents did not spell his name that way in naming him. It's not hard to understand [1]. And once you come across his situation, you'll find his parents did a great job in giving him a unique and memorable name [2].
