Yes, there are some things inherently wrong with v2.04.
I and others have posted on these issues here in the past.
v2.04 seems to work correctly in a Windows 98/SE dos console,
but has a variety of problems and errors when used in 16-bit
RM with MS-DOS v7.10 (which comes with Windows 98/SE).
AIR, when these issues were brought up before, DJ stated
that v2.04 was only designed to work correctly for DOS
console windows, such as within Windows 98/SE, Windows XP,
Windows NT, etc and then went on to say the issues with
16-bit RM hadn't been fixed because no one is contributing
to DJGPP anymore.
