This is a port of GNU UnRTF 0.21.6 to MSDOS/DJGPP.
UnRTF is a moderately complicated converter from RTF to other
formats, including HTML, LaTeX, text, and PostScript. Converting
to HTML, it supports tables, fonts, colors, embedded images,
hyperlinks, paragraph alignment among other things.
DJGPP specific changes.
=======================
To compile this package you will need to install the libiconv package
becuase it is assumed that the iconv functionality is available either
through the c library or through libiconv. Also an implementation of
strcasestr is provided because unrtf assumes without checking that it
is available. As usual all DJGPP specific changes to the sources are
documented in the diffs file stored in the /djgpp directory.
Of course, if you do not want to compile the sources you do not need
to download and install the iconv library package at all.
The most user visible change is probably that the configuration files
now are stored in
/dev/env/DJDIR/share/unrtf/
instead of
/dev/env/DJDIR/libs/unrtf/
as it used to be in the previous port.
For futher information about GNU UnRTF please read the man pages.
The port consists of the usual two packages that have been compiled
using stock djdev203 and that can be downloaded from ftp.delorie.com
and mirrors as (time stamp 2014-12-12):
UnRTF 0.21.6 binary and man format documentation:
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2gnu/urtf216b.zip
UnRTF 0.21.6 source:
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2gnu/urtf216s.zip
The port has been compiled a second time using a libc.a version compiled from
current repository code and patched with the new malloc code. This package
is available at ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as (time stamp 2014-12-12):

Send GNU UnRTF specific bug reports to <bug-unrtf AT gnu DOT org>.
Send suggestions and bug reports concerning the DJGPP port to
comp.os.msdos.djgpp or <djgpp AT delorie DOT com>.
If you are not sure if the failure is really a UnRTF failure
or a djgpp specific failure, report it here and *not* to
<bug-unrtf AT gnu DOT org>.
Enjoy.
