I think you're confused.  :-)   DJGPP's rm (FileUtils?) works fine, even with "-f". Make sure you aren't accidentally using another version (ahead in your %PATH%) or .BAT or DOSKEY macro or Bash alias. And please post md5sum and/or date, size, etc. of the specific RM.EXE in question. But it should work fine (unless you're using something else).
