It contains mainly bug fixes in the win32 and X11 targets and backports
from MGRX.
Apart from a handful of new functions requested/contributed from users,
the only visible change for users is in the configure and makedefs.grx
scripts when compiling from sources.
This has been done at the request of maintainers of linux distribs to
ease binary distributions by conforming to recent GNU practices. It now
honors DESTDIR. The old INSTALLDIR in makedefs.grx is no more present,
but prefix is there to give the functionality.
It works with djgpp when using the (default) syntax /dev/env/DJDIR. I
used it to produce the current binary distribs. It was only necessary to
add manifest files.
As usual there are three files in the current/v2tk directory
sources
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/grx249s.zip
dvi,html,pdf,ps
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/grx249d.zip
binaries for djgpp v2.03
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/grx249b.zip
and binaries for djgpp v2.04 in the beta directory
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2tk/grx249b.zip
Enjoy
