IIRC, the problem, for me, was while it had a loopback FS on DOS, it couldn't mount VFAT, only UMSDOS. It seems there is a newer one called RIP Linux, but I don't think it's a loopback system. http://www.tux.org/pub/people/kent-robotti/looplinux/rip/ Further down the page: "If you want to install and boot Linux on a Windows XP/Vista system, read the readme below. " (README link is bad, but .exe is available.) Interesting, I have RIPLinux CD, but I can't check to see if it's the same... (need a cable...). Ok, I dl'd BasicLinux. RP
