It always tries to create cwsdpmi.swp in c:\ - if your disk is NTFS format you may not have a C:\ You do not want to create a file for virtual memory on a floppy. It is only used if your program is bigger than physical memory and needs to page. Almost all machines today have more than enough physical memory for any DJGPP application, so it's probably not needed. You can use cwsparam to change the location of the swap file, or disable trying to create one. You can also load cwsdpmi before running the application with the swap location on the command line (see cwsdpmi.doc for more information).
