Can anybody tell me in what module the low level GDB hardware support for DJGPP is implemented? I am talking about writing and reading the i386 debug registers. I have searched both the GDB and the DJGPP source code and just can't find it. The reason I want to know, is to implement h/w watchpoint support in a DJGPP GDB stub. BTW: I found and fixed a number of problems in gdbst01 (which does not work at all on current GDB versions) and got it working nicely using a TCP/IP connection between the DJGPP target and a specially configured Cygwin GDB on WinXP. The DJGPP target uses a proprietary TCP/IP product (Datalight Sockets). I would like to make the modified stub available to the DJGPP community for serial port use or TCP/IP use for Datalight customers. Perhaps someone can port it to an open source TCP/IP implementation. Thoughts?
