Hi all, I'm just wondering if gcc compiler supports the truncate function known from perl. With this call you can strip parts of a file off the end. The reason behind is, that I'd like to write a little application in c / c++ to strip off the ID3/V1 information from mp3 files. Of course it is possible to rename the certain file and copy it to the old filename except the unwanted ID3 information, but this would mean to write megabytes for every file. Any idea appreciated!
