Ehh.. Can it run on 16-bit DOS, but not produce 16-bit executables? Maybe
the OP use the 16-bit version of GCC?
Never mind. I was going to start a new thread, because I need help
compiling the 16-bit version of GCC. Now it goes here...
I have downloaded gcc-2.7.2.3.tar.gz and the files from
http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/16bit/gcc/
but I don't really know what to do with the diff files.
Next, will I need DJGPP to compile the files? I run Ubuntu 7.10 with a
working GCC. Will that be good enough?
In fact, I don't need the whole 16-bit package. I only need a 16-bit
version of as (I need an assembler with AT&T syntax to run under MS-DOS
on a 80186 handheld PC). If one of you can send me the .exe, you would
make me very happy.
