Do you really think that this thread is the only one I'm reading? I
get and read over 150 email messages (excluding spam) each day, so
it's unreasonable to expect me to remember what you wrote several days
ago. On top of that, you told that you have run various modifications
of the code, and I have no reason to believe that they all produced
the same output (you did at some point say that 0.00 is printed, I
think).
In other words, if people who are trying to help you are asking some
question, please don't assume they do that out of ignorance or
laziness.

Does it change anything if you omit -gstabs (it shouldn't, but I'd
like to be sure)?
Anyway, I'm beginning to suspect that you have some hardware problem
on that machine. If you have a friend with a Windows box, can you try
running a copy of test.exe on the other machine and see whether the
behavior changes there?
