> When you use "-g", you are including additional information in the > binary, and this changes where bits-and-pieces of your program and > your data are located in memory. It shouldn't. Adding -g shouldn't change ANYTHING about how your program runs. Changes in -O options might, but -g shouldn't. All -g does is add debug information sections to the .exe, but they're not part of the text/data sections.
