After unsuccessfully scanning index files for 'libc', 'lib', 'library', etc. I was tempted to believe that libc is closely related to gcc and would be somewhere hidden amongst the 20MB+ gcc archive. > Hint: the glibc sources aren't part of the GCC source tree either. Roger. But they are somewhat easier to find from my subjective point of view. > > > Any directions where to search are appreciated. > > The DJGPP libc sources are in the djlsr203.zip package at the same > place you found djdev203.zip, the package containing the libc itself. Thanks. Found them, checked them and they seem to be unrelated to both glibc and the BSD libraries I have seen so far at the first glance. If someone could spare the time to enlighten me about their historic roots, I'd be grateful ... > -- > Hans-Bernhard Broeker (broeker AT physik DOT rwth-aachen DOT de) > Even if all the snow were burnt, ashes would remain.
