Problem posting a link to text of program is for people who download news
messages and read offline, they won't see the text of program, and might or
might not bother to browse the URL on their next Internet session.

I can see a reason for posting a URL rather than inline text if the program is
really long, like 300 lines, but then hardly anybody will bother to look
through 300 lines of somebody else's program to solve their problem unless it
is as a paid consultant.
