I accept thisą ;-) but in the XP world it may help us to remember that
sometimes the person that installs the packages (specially in a lab) is
not a programmer but a sysdamin. In this cases a installer, the nearest
to the customs of the platform may make a difference.
I never gave a more serious thought in doing this for DJGPP because I
can't a way of creating a dynamic packager. The nearer thing we have, I
believe, is the 'install.exe' program but a long time I don't use it so
I don't know how robust is it right now.
