I'm still in the pains of (re-)learning all the things I used to have 
working like a charm in the previous incarnations of these OSs from Redmond.

I've run the 'install.pl' perl script to have all the libs correctly 
installed.

What I get when I invoke autoconf in a directory that has a 
'configure.in' (w/out errors as it works OK in Linux):

Note that the fault is severe enough to drop me off the bash prompt.

Just for the sake of clarification: Data/Dumper _is_ there where it is 
supposed to be!
