But then other parts of gcc fail. AFAIK, gcc 3.2 hasn't been updated yet to
work with a single modern autoconf. Tip to OP - don't use *s2.zip, but get
the *s.zip that is already fixed up with DJGPP patches. (Most of these
patches aren't even required for a cross compiler I think).
