If it's just memory emulating a disk, standard fdisk and format
commands, and [f]open, [f]read, [f]write, [f]close library
functions should also work. Open a file during startup; close and
open another every so often during quiet times, if there are any.
You then have the benefit of a light weight file system for data
storage and retrieval.
