Say 1016MB or 1020MB. Remember that your program takes some of the XMS memory, and there's a page-table overhead of about 1kB per 1MB of memory, so you'd have another 1.5MB or so used there (Remember the video card and any other memory mapped I/O). Failing that, I think CWSDPMI may have a 256MB or 512MB limit.
