BTW, this is caused by the following code:

   .align 4, 0x90
   BLIT_LOOP(words_and_byte, 1,  /* word at a time, plus leftover byte */
      rep ; movsw
      movsb
   )

I tried a newer version, but apparently there are some differences in how
the joystick is handled, so i'm still stuck with a non-working config :S
