Wrong approach. Socket connectivity is needed for DTD validation, etc.
Canes, get Wattcp-32 and install it first. You may have to work at it a
while. Many keep their Wattcp-32 installation in a separate directory and
specificy -I(wattcp/include) in the CDEFS. See http://www.bgnett.no/~giva/.
As of the latest CVS release, Daniel Veillard has a new IO patch special for
DJGPP ;-)
Andris Pavenis had a couple of pre-built LibXML2 binaries on his website,
but the last I looked, the link seemed dead. Anyone know what happened
there? http://hal.astr.lu.lv/pub/djgpp/
If you can wait a couple more weeks, PythonD 2.2.1 V2 will ship, with
*complete* XML support, including Daniel Veillard's latest libXML2 Python
Modules, PyXML 0.82, and the standard xml module. We are working hard to
make PythonD the ultimate choice for DOS XML processing needs.
