[snip] Which socket library are you using? Which operating system are you using? If you're using libsocket, don't. It's not maintained anymore and doesn't work properly on anything other than Windows '95. (I used to maintain it.) If you're using Watt-32, then it will only work under DOS, unless you install a packet-driver emulation layer under Windows called NDIS3PKT (I think). Check the Watt-32 docs for more information.
