I've installed DJGPP on my XP system, I've set the following 2
variables:
set DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV
set PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN;%PATH%
and rebooted.
I'm working at the command line, prefer for now not to use a development
environment, and I'm compiling and linking like this:
gxx -o prog.exe prog.cpp
Every thing works fine except that I can only compile in the djgpp/bin
directory.
Even if I add a folder like djgpp/bin/myfolder, I can't compile in it.
Is there any way I can compile outside this particular directory without
changing path variables again?
I've searched the faq and browsed elsewhere to no avail, and now I
humbly submit my question here.
Thanks for any help.
Dennis
