Hello again!
I´m sorry to bother you again. But this time I hope that I´m writing to you
the right way. I didn´t know what the difference between writing in HTML and
plain text. I´m just a guy that believe that when I buy a computer and use
it, everthing is set up the way it should be. Again, I´m sorry:
Back to my problem about running djgpp. Since the last time I have created a
program in C. It was OK to compile it. The respond was "no errors". But it
was impossible to run. When i clicked on the menu "Run", nothing
happened. When clicked on "Control+F9", the program shut down and show me a
new window.
In that window I could read "C:\ [Inactive rhide.exe]". The next line sad
"Could not switch to language ´SV´". I don´t understand much about
computers, but think that this has someting to do with the way the computer
is informaed about what is inside.
Like I hope you understand from my earlier letters. The program has been
working perfect in my old computer which was running under Windows 95. It
was easy to write the lines below in Autoexec.bat then
set DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV
set PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN;%PATH%
I have done exactly as explained in the readme.1st. In Path I added the last
line. I made a new variable called djgpp and wrote the first line in this
variable. As I explained earlier, I´ve been in contact with Microsoft here
in sweden. They told me to do exactly what I´ve have done. But still I don´t
get the menu in my own language. And I still don´t get any response when I
try the Help-menu.
It seems that the file djgpp.env not is activated when I´m starting the
program.Could it be that I´m starting the program the wrong way? On the old
computer I´m using this line:
c:\djgpp\bin\rhide -L SV
Do you have any comment on this line?
Please, please, please help me. I´m getting frustrated.
If you can´t help me, who can.
