Thanks for the tip, but...the key issue is "user-space".  Maybe that's
not the correct WinNT terminology since I'm a lot more Unix than Win.
Here's what I see when I execute "ctrl2cap /install":

  Could not copy ctrl2cap.nt5.sys to \system32\drivers.:
  Access is denied.

It's a bitch not having admin passwords!!!  :-)
