It is possible as far as DJGPP is concerned. Whether your _operating system_ supports it is the important question. Raw DOS doesn't, but the DOS window inside 9x, 2K or XP does. DOS windows in NT don't. You can use a driver to implement long filenames even on the platforms that don't support it.
