The other option for text windowing library is TV 2.01 - aka Turbo Vision Text windowing library originally from Borland and available for DJGPP, MSVC, Linux text and Linux X. The other option is PDCurses - grab it from the developers site as the one in the V2Tk directory is and old version. If you want true graphics cross platform library check out Allegro. Andrew
