No changes are necessary. It's one of my favourite packages to port. ;) One of the GMP developers builds GMP for DJGPP occasionally, I believe - at least, he used to. I'm not sure if GMP can be built without long filenames. You may have to disable dependency tracking - there's a configure script option for that.
