Hello, I think, curently I have a very big black-hole in my brain... Because of compatibility with DOS I can use only 8.3 Names, which mean, I must save my maildir whith only 8 Characters. But the serialdate under Linux is to large... in Decimal. Now I am Looking for a function to convert the serialdate to HEX that it fit into the 8.3 names. Can anyone help me ? + reverse function please. Thanks Michelle
