Hello,
i'm [trying] to use RHIDE+DJGPP under XP, but there are several problems.
Most important - I realy like to work in Dos-BOX (instead of full-window),
but in that mode, even on Athlon 1,6 512 RAM RHIDE (and all dos programs)
work terrible slow - text mode screen is refreshed about 2 times per
secdond with makes work very uncomfortable.
Also - the colors are little different.
Is there some work-around ? (I guess not - probably this is fault of WinXP)
Anohter idea - I wounder will it be possible to write some hmm program that
will a Dos 32-bit program (RHIDE, DJGPP programs) and will take care of
displaying textmode (maybe read A000 of program conventional memory, and/or
take care of BIOS interrupts for displaying text) ? Maybe some path for
Dos-Box in XP is already made ?
