> Is this a new problem that was introduced in gcc v3.2? Yes. The default debug format has changed. If you install gdb, there is a new program called "bfdsymify" that supports the new debug formats. I doubt they'll get added to the old symify, as the new formats are quite a bit more complex than the old ones.
