1. Start following djgpp-workers. You can subscribe to this from
http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/ .
2. Test out the binary packages built against DJGPP CVS by Andrew Cottrell. I
can't remember where these are available from, but he posts the URL to
djgpp-workers fairly regularly. (I'm sure Charles or Andrew will follow up
your post anyway.)
3. Use DJGPP CVS as your "normal" DJGPP tree, e.g. in c:\djgpp. Actually, you
may want to wait for a snapshot / alpha release / beta release to come out.
DJGPP CVS needs a lot of testing, since lots of have things have changed.
There are more special cases - Windows '9x vs. 2k/XP - so some subtle things
may have broken.
I kind of volunteered to be the release manager for 2.04. Unfortunately the
past couple of months have been a bit crazy and I haven't really got back into
doing DJGPP stuff yet. However, I should be able to periodically dedicate a
fair amount of time to DJGPP, so I'll try to get a snapshot out sometime in
October.
Regards,
