The original cdk headers don't include the declarations to make C++ know
that the functions are C, e.g.,

#ifdef	__cplusplus
extern "C" {
#endif

#include <cdk.h>

#ifdef	__cplusplus
}
#endif

Though I incorporated that change a while ago...
