What do you mean, when you say you can't connect? Is clio.rice.edu
unreachable? Is your login denied? Does ping or traceroute to clio.rice.edu
work? Have you tried reducing the MTU to 576 bytes or lowering the MTU on the
IP interface you're using to reach clio.rice.edu?
